Please help me out here, guys. I just set up a MT-based blog and I love the software to bits. I confess that my enthusiasm for 6A fell somewhat after their not-entirely-grokked management of LJ, but this, the individual service? It's splendid. So, is this the way to do it? I could find nothing else in the Vox Knowledge Base that addressed crossposts (of some kind, anyway) with blogs that aren't rooted in LJ or TypePad. Is there something I'm missing? Thank you!
I have a LiveJournal which I greatly enjoy and have no intention of abandoning, but I'd like to play around with this and see what it offers. It would be nifty if, besides Flickr & co., one could log into LJ's ScrapBook and import photos from there. I hope SixApart will implement this eventually.
I have read the instructions on collections, but have yet to get that 'add item' to appear when I select photos. Maybe the service is new so not everything is in place yet. The blog's look and layout are as yet very limited but the way the books &c. are added is very cool and easy to use so I'll wait to see what else comes along.
In other pet peeves, the interests listed in the profile page are not clickable the way they are in LJ, so I can't search people by interests (or I can but i'm too daft to find out how), although I do like the tag search which encompasses all material posted to Vox or linked to from it. Tag-searching for some of my interests brought up little so I have no idea how to find anyone I know in here unless I announce this blog in places I do have friends.
